Labour of Love - The Ultimate Guide to Being a Birth Partner

In this ultimate guide, I share everything you need to know about preparing to attend the birth of a baby, by identifying key elements of the birth partners role that is not traditionally taught.

I believe it is important for both you and your partner to understand why they can literally ‘make or break’ the birth experience – if they are under prepared and unsure how to advocate for you, in the event it becomes necessary.

This book covers important issues related to giving birth in the current maternity system. Whether you are a spouse, relative, friend, doula or midwife, you’ll benefit from the easy-to-follow information and tried and-tested tools shared throughout the book.

The Art of Giving Birth - Five Key Physiological Principles

Learning more about physiological birth is vital to anyone who is planning to give birth ‘naturally’. Desperate to share the knowledge I had gained over two decades of witnessing physiological birth on a regular basis, I wrote The Art of Giving Birth to support pregnant women and their families to deeply understand as much as possible about their physiological capabilities – and how that is affected by giving birth in a modern, fear based culture.

In order to succeed at achieving a physiological birth, I felt it was essential to talk openly about the difference between a birth that is untouched and unhurried, versus a birth that is not.

In addition, I wrote a specific journal to accompany The Art of Giving Birth. I wanted to provide a resource that helps remove any obstacles that may linger within your subconscious mind and rise up and sabotage your birth on the day. This journal helps you to look inward at yourself, when deciding what you want to achieve when giving birth – in more detail.

These more generic journals are aimed at providing you or anyone who is pregnant with a safe space to write down your plans, thoughts, and feelings about giving birth – in order to develop your own philosophies. Within the pages, you will also find space to keep lists, notes, and appointments. You can access birth plan templates, birth bag packing lists, tools to help you learn more about giving birth, information for your birth partner, and much more…

These journals make great gifts, and come with a variety of different cover options. You can also choose from a colour, or black and white interior – leading to varying price options.

This informative weekly podcast is for pregnant women and their partners to learn more about their options for birth.

With over 100 episodes to choose from with a broad range of topics, you can listen to my guests share their knowledge and experiences with you – to help you feel confident in your decisions throughout the birth process.

New episodes are released every Sunday – Available on all platforms.
