About Me
As a birthkeeper, doula and educator, I have been supporting families in the Warwickshire, Worcester, and West Midlands area during the antenatal and postnatal period for over 23 years. My extensive training has taken me across the world and I have had the privilege to get to know 1000’s of women and their partners both in and out of the birth room.
The knowledge and experience I have gained throughout this time, has given me the opportunity to speak at conferences, to lecture student midwives, and to mentor new trainee doulas. I have also written 2 award-winning books and produced a series of birth planning journals to accompany my books and courses, in addition to hosting my popular weekly podcast with over 100 episodes to choose from.
About Me
As a birthkeeper, doula and educator, I have been supporting families in the Warwickshire, Worcester, and West Midlands area during the antenatal and postnatal period for over 23 years. My extensive training has taken me across the world and I have had the privilege to get to know 1000’s of women and their partners both in and out of the birth room.

I have also written 2 award-winning books and produced a series of birth planning journals to accompany my books and courses, in addition to hosting my popular weekly podcast with over 100 episodes to choose from.
I first became interested in supporting women during their pregnancy journey after the birth of my 2nd child in 2000. I completed a comprehensive doula training course with French obstetrician Michel Odent, and then over the next few years went on to train as an antenatal yoga teacher, baby massage instructor, sleep consultant and hypnobirthing teacher.
The wide range of services, classes and content I offer are aimed at helping my audience of women and their partners to make well informed decisions and succeed at achieving their dream birth.
In 2014 after feeling frustrated with the disappointing births that so many women in my yoga classes were having, I decided to include antenatal education to my repertoire. I wanted my content to focus on what was clearly missing from standard antenatal courses, and introduced information that was aimed at physiological birth, and the role of the birth partner.
Based on the success of my course, I wrote my first book in 2020. Labour of Love – The Ultimate Guide to Being a Birth Partner quickly became an amazon best seller, and won a platinum award in 2021.
My second book The Art of Giving Birth – Five Key Physiological Principles is aimed specifically at women who want to achieve a physiological birth. This book also won a platinum award and is changing lives for so many women across the world.
In addition, I began my podcast during lockdown, to offer free information to anyone who was struggling to access antenatal education, and now have over 100 valuable episodes that are aimed at supporting pregnant women and their partners.
I couldn’t be more proud of the information I share and am confident that It makes a real difference to the people who listen.
To support pregnant women to learn to trust their bodies & step into their power.
To educate birth partners to feel knowledgable and well-prepared for their role.
To take antenatal education to a deeper level to ensure clients own their birth.
